JOB POSTING: Jeffco Public Schools seeks EAP Counselor

The Jeffco Employee Assistance Program offers our employees and their family members (ages 15 and older) mental health consultation, preventive education, brief counseling, crisis intervention, traumatic incident response, and referral to community resources to deal with difficulties occurring in their work and personal lives. Our staff also provides training, consultation to managers, conflict mediation and emotional intelligence coaching to support our employees and leaders.

We’re looking for a positive, enthusiastic and compassionate team member to work in our small counseling office and throughout our school district. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three year clinical experience, three years EAP experience and possess a Colorado psychotherapy license. Organizational development and training skills are a plus and needed in our internal EAP. The ideal candidate will be willing to work hard, enjoy working with people, and highly organized with a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and has proficient technology skills.
